I'm a Leo

By the sea

On one of our adventures, Hannah and I visited Lake Carroll. Originally we went because there's a statue there that looks like pants and that someone drew a vagina on, but we also ran into the friendliest, fluffiest dog and tried (and failed) to skip rocks in this pond with a waterfall. There were also geese everywhere and plastic docks that made weird noises when water slapped them. All in all, it was a lovely trip and I want to visit it again someday.

I cropped this picture (the right side was triple-exposed and I wanted the entire picture to look like the bottom one does) and I think I like it better.

The fair came to town, so these are the pictures that resulted. My sister and I didn't actually ride anything, but just to soak up the atmosphere in the fair was fun.

You are a child of the universe no less than the trees and stars

Go placidly among the haste and remember what peace there may be in silence.

You're the best friend that I've ever had
I've been with you such a long time

Photowalk with me

These pictures are from adventures with my best friend Hannah! In the first one, we were heading back to the car from a picnic in Piedmont Park and a bike ride around Atlanta. We also found that railroad track on the way to Little 5 Points and it was lovely, so we had to take pictures. The last ones are from an adventure in the woods and at Lake Carroll the other day.

And when I sleep on your couch, I feel very safe

Sister

This is my lovely sister! She's 12 and is probably my favorite person to take pictures of. Sorry some pictures are sideways; I can't figure out how to rotate them. The fourth picture was inspired by the album art from Tennis's Cape Dory

We went to Atlanta for Mother's Day this weekend! Saturday afternoon/early evening we went to the Sweet Auburn Festival and followed it with a trip to Gladys Knight's Chicken & Waffles. The first four pictures are from the festival and the last ones I took when we walked around Atlanta after dinner.

These are all a pretty good reflection of my life at school. I can't believe my first year of college is over already; it flew by! Summer school starts in 10 days (which is daunting), but I'll enjoy the short summer I have while it lasts.
